Kara Logan Berlin founded the consulting firm Harvest in 2009, which helps nonprofits improve fundraising results and efficiency, create financial sustainability, and develop staff talent. Berlin also created the Harvest Development Boot Camp, an interactive training program for fundraisers. Previously, she was major-gift officer at the Robin Hood Foundation and served as a pro-bono fundraising consultant for its grantees. She also was director of development at DREAM, formerly Harlem RBI, where she led individual and corporate giving, special events, and marketing and communications. Berlin helped the nonprofit increase its operating budget by more than 400 percent in four years.
Maleka Lawrence

Maleka Lawrence has nearly 20 years of fundraising experience at national and community nonprofits. and served most recently as chief operating officer at NSLA, a role she held until January 2020. She also led development efforts at the Education Trust in Washington, D.C., and at DREAM, a charter school in New York that provides after-school and summer programs for children.
