Aldred also teaches seminars on international philanthropy, industrial research, and internal communications at national and regional conferences.

On June 17, Katie Fanning will take on the role of prospect research and database manager at the Missouri Botanical Garden, where she will work to expand the organization’s international fundraising efforts. Fanning currently is senior analyst at the University of Chicago, where she supports a team of domestic and global fundraisers by providing tailored research that helps target prospective donors. Her research at the university focuses on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Previously, Fanning was a prospect researcher at the Art Institute of Chicago.
