Mark Stuart

Mark Stuart is chief development and membership officer of San Diego Zoo Global and president of its foundation. Under his leadership, the zoo in 2017 raised about $127 million from more than 600,000 supporters. Previously, Stuart was associate dean of development and alumni relations at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine, where he managed a campaign that raised $116 million during his five-year tenure. He has served on the faculty of National University's Sanford Institute of Philanthropy and edited the fundraising textbook, Cause Selling.

Tami Rummel has more than 30 years of experience in donor relations. She believes in active cultivation of donors and a highly collaborative approach to donor engagement. She is helping to develop a culture of philanthropy at Albion College where she leads a team of 32 fundraising, marketing, and communications professionals. Her past experience includes 12 years at the American Cancer Society, and before that she worked as a fundraiser at Michigan State University.
